Rental Qualifications & Requirements:
Driverīs License:
All customers must have been licensed to drive for at least one year at time of
the rental.
A national license must be presented at time of rental. An international driving
permit (IDP) is also required if the national driving license is not in Roman
alphabet. An IDP is recommended for translation purposes and may only be used in
conjunction with a national driver's license.
Additional drivers:
Additional drivers charge: ISK 150 pr.day
Age:
Minimum age for rental is 20 years for grp. S,A,B,C,D, and 23 for grp. E,F,G.
Rental period:
Minimum rental is one day (24 hours)
Extension of rental:
Reykjavik Car Rental must be notified of all changes to the original
reservation.
Availability and prices:
Reykjavik Car Rental will make every effort to provide you with the requested
vehicle. However, a situation may arise where we may be obliged to provide you
with a different vehicle.
